ABA Therapy for Autism

Applied Behavior Analysis
What is ABA Therapy?
Applied behavior analysis (ABA) is a therapy that helps people of all ages, but most notably youth, develop critical life and social skills, while helping them find appropriate ways to deal with stress to avoid problematic behaviors.
We believe firmly in a neurodivergent-affirming approach. That means we accept the differences a client with autism brings to build confidence in them and their family, involve the client in their own treatment to promote a life long motivation for learning, and tailor sessions to their unique interests to provide the best chance for involvement and success. That means that if Johnny wants to play with trucks today, we’ll use trucks to teach new skills.

How Does ABA Help Autism?
Autism is not something we’re afraid of. Our clients are vibrant, full of life, and a joy to be around. And we use ABA Therapy not to change their personalities, but just to help them be able to function more independently, work well with others, regulate their emotions, and overall improve their quality of life.
This service is for clients ages 2 to 21 years old. We offer therapy at home, in the community (a park, for example), at school, in Central Arkansas, and in our clinic in Greenbrier, or a combination. We don’t require a large chunk of your time each week to secure a spot in our clinic. Clients typically see us 10-40 hour per week, depending on their needs and parents’ availability.
Insurance and Availability
Can I Afford ABA Therapy?
ABA Therapy is covered by most major insurances in Arkansas as a service for clients under the age of 21, who have at least 2 of the 3 required diagnoses from health care professionals. You don’t have to wait for all 3 diagnosis before getting treatment. We are in-network with most major insurances, but can also accept cash pay if needed. The payment includes an initial assessment fee, as well as a cost per weekly, biweekly, or monthly session.
For parents who are waiting for treatment, please see Parent Training and Support. Our Conway-based services have a 6-12 month waitlist, but our out-of-clinic services are available, and our new Greenbrier Clinic has immediate openings.
